T-Head GPU Shipments Surpass 560k; New Zhenwu V900/J900 Roadmap Targets Agentic AI

During the 2026 Alibaba Cloud Summit, T-Head (Ping头哥), the semiconductor subsidiary of Alibaba Group, officially unveiled its strategic roadmap for the Zhenwu series GPU chips. The company announced that cumulative shipments of the Zhenwu series have exceeded 560,000 units, supporting more than 400 enterprise customers across 20 industries, including major players like China Telecom, FAW Group, and SPDB. This milestone underscores the large-scale commercial adoption of self-developed GPUs in critical sectors such as finance, telecommunications, and industrial manufacturing.

To address the rapidly evolving computational requirements of the "Agentic era," T-Head plans to launch two next-generation chips, the Zhenwu V900 and Zhenwu J900, over the next two years. These chips are designed to provide significantly enhanced AI processing power for complex industrial applications. Parallel to the hardware expansion, Alibaba's service ecosystem is integrating generative AI capabilities at scale. For instance, Fliggy recently launched an AI assistant for hotel merchants to automate inventory management and service workflows, demonstrating a full-stack AI strategy ranging from silicon infrastructure to end-user software.
