K3s is a fully conformant, production-ready, and lightweight Kubernetes distribution. It packages all necessary components into a single binary of less than 100 MB and drastically reduces the memory footprint by running multiple components inside a single process. K3s removes in-tree storage drivers and cloud providers, using SQLite as the default datastore while bundling containerd, Traefik, and Flannel out of the box. It is highly optimized for Edge, IoT, CI/CD, ARM, and local development environments.
