html-video is an open-source local video generation engine by nexu-io. Acting as a meta-layer, it empowers 14 popular coding agents to turn text prompts, web articles, or GitHub repos into multi-frame animated videos. The agents automatically build storyboards, apply curated HTML templates, and render real MP4s locally using headless Chromium and ffmpeg. It features zero per-render fees, extensible rendering backends, and optional AI soundtracks.
